Summary:

Rafe was a CEO of his company and Melanie was the assistant. But Melanie started to fall in love with Rafe but instead of him falling for her, he has fallen for her best friend Jessica, Melanie has been heartbroken and she couldn’t just stand there and see how in love they both were so she decided to quit her job and soon she found a coffee shop and stared it working there.  After a year of Jessica and Rafe dating they finally brake up due to Jessica has fallen in love with Rafe brother, Rafe was now left heartbroken he has though that they were in love. He has now decided that before he goes back to the company he would like to join a band and after he has he fun he will return to the company. One day he found Melanie in her new job, they stared to talk but Melanie was still sad cause she knows he doesn’t l feel the same way as she fells for him. Later that week Melanie’s birthday came up and her best-friend and fiancé gave her a tattoo. When they arrived at the tattoo shop she was surprise to see Rafe there, but that was like a new version of him because he not using his normal suit. It was like if he was a bad boy, soon thy just stared a conversation she had ask Rafe to go get the tattoo with her, later he had offer Melanie a ride home and she agree. Ones they got to her apartment they stared talking more and she invited him in, that morning he had told Melanie that he didn’t want to be in a relationship. Melanie stay quiet and just told him that she has to go to work, over the weeks Rafe and Melanie had been hanging out they were getting closer and closer by time, on night Melanie had when to his concert and she meet all the guys, but one of the guys had found Melanie to be very attractive and had ask her out on a date, and the next week the same guy had ask her on a lunch date now. When Rafe found out about this he got very jealous so he when to where she and the guy where having this lunch date and cause a big scene, after he calm him-self down he when over to Melanie’s apartment to find out if she was mad. As he explain that he want to be in a relationship with her, he wants to be the one that takes her on dates and asked her to be his girlfriend. They had there up’s and down but they end it up getting engaged and happily ever after.

My impression of the book:         

I like this book because is like a girl fantasy to be able to be in malarias position and be love by this amazing guy and the book is also really entertaining. It also like a fairy tale story but is lovely.

There were some things that didn't sit right with me. Melanie quit her job because of Rafe and Jessica. Yet Jessica is engaged to Dane. To me, this just didn't seem right. It made me more confused than anything. But, the rest of the story is hot! I loved the sweaty sexy interactions between Rafe and Melanie. It was really hot! I loved hearing about Melanie finding herself and growing. This is a great rockstar romance! I'm excited to see what the next installment is about!

Rafe “Storm” left to find himself after his father passed away. Now Melanie left her job at Ranier Industries after knowing that Rafe was never going to pay attention to her. Now it’s her turn to find herself. Melanie was the secretary to the man that she loved but she needed to leave her job because Rafe was in love with her bestfriend, Jessica. From the moment that he laid eyes on Jessica he was head over heels over her and Melanie knew nothing would ever happen between them. Melanie loves art and oh boy can she draw and now with all her extra time and no time constraint she can find herself. She has always done what was expected of her and now it was time for her to live her life the way she wanted. Rafe seeks out Melanie at her new job because he needs to find out why she left her job. He made her aware that no matter what she will always have a job at Ranier Industries. He never would have thought that he would be running into Melanie at a tattoo parlor. He needed to move on with his life and remove something that meant everything to him and someone else. Then Melanie surprised him with what she was going to have tattooed and where. The moment that he saw that white, creamy place his thoughts became wicked. His to Claim: No Strings is a great start to Melanie’s and Rafe’s story and beautifully written. I really enjoyed seeing these characters again and seeing that Rafe is attracted to Melanie. It seems he could have always been but he could have suppressed his feelings. The chemistry between Rafe and Melanie is evident. Ms. Carew has a way with words and with that a way for me to get lost for a little while in a different world.
I happily recommend this story. It’s a great start to a beautiful love story.
